About New World cigars

Bold, hand-made, outstanding value

"New World" means premium hand-made cigars from outside Cuba – mostly Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic and Honduras. Many of the great makers are Cuban families who carried their craft abroad. Expect more variety, bolder blends and often better value than a Habano.

How long have you got?

A rough guide: thicker cigars and a slower pace take longer.

A quick smokeUp to 120 mm. Roughly 20 to 40 minutes. An hour or so124 to 150 mm, such as Robustos and Coronas. Roughly 45 to 75 minutes. A long evening152 mm and over, such as Churchills and Double Coronas. 90 minutes plus.

How strong do you like it?

Strength as published by Habanos and Hunters & Frankau. Not every cigar has a rating.
