Alec Bradley
Alec Bradley was founded by Alan Rubin, whose sons are Alec and Bradley Rubin, and the brand is now part of Scandinavian Tobacco Group. Its cigars are made in Honduras and Nicaragua: Black Market, Prensado and The Lineage at the Raíces Cubanas factory in Danlí, Honduras, and Project 40, Black Market Estelí and Safe Keepings in Estelí. Several blends use dark Honduran wrapper grown in the Trojes region, and the box-pressed Prensado Churchill was Cigar Aficionado's No. 1 Cigar of the Year for 2011.
Strength runs from medium (Project 40, The Lineage, Texas Lancero) to medium to full (Black Market, Prensado, Tempus, Safe Keepings). Choose by wrapper too: Project 40 comes in natural or San Andrés maduro, while the limited Filthy Hooligan editions wear a barber-pole Candela wrapper.
