H Upmann
H. Upmann was founded in Havana in 1844 by Herman Upmann, a German banker who set up both a bank and a cigar factory. The gold medals on its boxes were won at eleven international fairs during the nineteenth century. Hunters & Frankau have represented the brand in Britain since the 1850s and owned the Havana factory between 1925 and 1937. Every size is long filler and totally handmade with Vuelta Abajo tobacco.
Habanos class H. Upmann as light to medium: smooth and refined, a good starting point for newer smokers. Choose by size and time: the Half Corona suits a short break, while the Magnum 46, Sir Winston and No.2 offer a longer smoke.
