Joya de Nicaragua

Joya de Nicaragua was founded in Estelí in 1968 and is the oldest premium cigar maker in Nicaragua. According to the company, its Clásico was the first Nicaraguan puro exported from the country. The range now spans the modern JOYA line (Red, Black, Silver and Cabinetta), Antaño, the everyday Rosalones Reserva and Flor de Nicaragua, and the ultra-premium Obras Maestras family: Cuatro Cinco, Cinco Décadas, Número Uno and Cinco de Cinco. Joya de Nicaragua says Número Uno ranked No. 6 in Cigar Aficionado's Top 25 for 2020.

Strength is a good starting point: Clásico is mild, Cabinetta mild to medium, JOYA Red, JOYA Black and Número Uno medium, and Antaño CT, JOYA Silver and the Obras Maestras blends medium to full. Wrappers range from Ecuadorian Connecticut to dark Mexican San Andrés, and the gift boxes let you compare several blends at once.
