My Father
My Father Cigars is run by the García family, originally from Cuba. José "Pepín" García and his son Jaime make most of their cigars at the family factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, using tobacco from their own farms, and the My Father brand itself was introduced in 2008. The family's newer factory in El Paraíso, Honduras, released its first cigar, My Father Blue, in 2025. According to Tor Imports, the Flor de las Antillas Toro was Cigar Aficionado's No. 1 cigar of 2012 and the Le Bijou 1922 Torpedo took the same title in 2015.
Most blends are medium to full or full, from Flor de las Antillas to the dark Le Bijou 1922 and The Judge. For something lighter, try My Father Connecticut or Jaime García Reserva Especial Connecticut, both mild to medium, then choose between box-pressed and round sizes or a sampler.
