The Don Pepín García Original, known as the "Blue Label", is the blend on which the family later based many of its other lines. It is made entirely from Nicaraguan tobacco, with an oily, cinnamon-coloured wrapper, and My Father lists it as handcrafted in the USA.
Tor Imports and My Father both describe it as full-bodied. Their notes point to leather and cedar with a lively mix of hot peppers. Tor Imports cites an average Cigar Aficionado rating of 93 points. The line ranges from the small Demi-Tasse through the Invictos Robusto to the slender Lanceros.
