Flor de las Antillas Maduro is a darker version of the original Flor de las Antillas. It first appeared in 2015 as a special release for Federal Cigar's anniversary and became a regular line in 2016. It pairs a sun-grown Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper with Nicaraguan binder and filler from the García family's La Estrella, La Bonita 1 and Las Marías farms, and is gently box-pressed.

My Father rates it three-quarter to full-bodied and describes creamy leather with a sweet and salty finish. halfwheel's reviewer found sweet spice, cocoa, oak and leather with black pepper in the background.
