The My Father No. 1 is a robusto from the original My Father line, the brand the García family introduced in 2008. It uses tobacco grown on the family's farms around Estelí in Nicaragua, finished with a Habano Rosado wrapper, and it comes in the line's glossy dark brown boxes.
Both My Father and Tor Imports describe the blend as full-bodied. Tor Imports lists the No. 1 with a Cigar Aficionado rating of 94 and a place at No. 3 in that magazine's 2009 Top 25. It is made by hand with the triple cap that the importer notes as a García family hallmark.
