Trinidad - Fundadores - Box of 24
A box of 24 cigars, the connoisseur's choice for laying down and ageing.
The size that launched Trinidad on public sale in 1998: a long, elegant cigar with a distinctive pigtail cap.
Named after the historic town of Trinidad on Cuba's south coast, Trinidad dates from 1969 and was used only as a state gift to foreign dignitaries until it went on limited public sale in 1998, when the Fundadores was the only size. Habanos class Trinidad as medium in flavour.
Connoisseurs' notes
Published reviewers commonly describe the Fundadores as having honey, espresso and vanilla.
Summarised from published tasting notes (Cigar Aficionado and specialist tobacconists).
