Perdomo - Reserve 10th Anniversary Connecticut Super Toro - Box of 25

Perdomo calls this blend the 10th Anniversary Champagne. It is where the company first aged wrapper leaf in bourbon barrels, a method it kept as a family secret for years, and Nicholas Perdomo Sr. called the barrel-aged wrapper the 'champagne' of wrappers. The tobaccos are aged for at least six years, with an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over Cuban-seed Nicaraguan binder and filler.

Tor Imports and Perdomo rate it mild to medium. They describe cream and honey from the wrapper, spice and oak from the filler, and a silky finish. It won Cigar Journal's Best Brand Nicaragua trophy in 2018. Perdomo is a family-owned, vertically integrated company based in Miami. It grows tobacco in the Estelí, Condega and Jalapa valleys and makes its cigars in Estelí, Nicaragua.
