The Serie V Melanio Edición Año 2025 is the 2025 instalment of Oliva's annual limited edition within the Serie V Melanio family. It was unveiled at the InterTabac trade fair in Dortmund in September 2025 and shipped shortly afterwards.

This year's theme is a tribute to the tobacco leaf itself and its journey from seed to finished cigar. The single vitola is a 5 x 54 Robusto Extra, made at Oliva's Tabolisa factory in Estelí. It follows the familiar Melanio recipe: an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over Nicaraguan tobaccos grown on Oliva's own farms. Retailers note that, unlike the box-pressed regular Melanio sizes, this edition is round.
