My Father - & Tatuaje La Union Black - Box of 40

La Unión celebrates 20 years of partnership between the García family and Pete Johnson of Tatuaje, whose cigars the Garcías have made since Tatuaje's first release in 2003. For this Black Humidor, released in February 2024, each side blended a cigar for the other. "Tatuaje for My Father" has a covered foot and a shade-grown Nicaraguan Corojo 99 wrapper. "My Father for Tatuaje" uses an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper.

Both blends use Nicaraguan García-grown binder and filler, including pelo de oro, in a 7¼ x 50 "Prominente Especial" with a 109-style head. Production was limited to 1,500 humidors, each with a XIKAR cutter. halfwheel's reviewers found cashew, cedar and cocoa in the Tatuaje blend, and cream, pepper and wood in the My Father blend.
