Jaime García Reserva Especial Connecticut is the lighter partner to the broadleaf-wrapped Jaime García Reserva Especial. It traces back to a single Connecticut-wrapped cigar in the 2011 limited-edition box and was first sold in 2012 as a limited regional release in New England. It became a nationwide US release in 2024.
José "Pepín" García and his son Jaime blended it at the family factory in Nicaragua. An Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper covers Nicaraguan binder and filler from the Garcías' farms. My Father describes the result as full of flavour but mild to medium in body.
