My Father Connecticut extends the My Father and Le Bijou lines. José "Pepín" García and his son Jaime blended it at the family factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. An Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper covers a Nicaraguan Corojo 99 binder and Nicaraguan Habano-Criollo filler. Apart from the wrapper, all of the tobacco comes from the Garcías' own farms.

The blend includes an aromatic leaf that was given a special fermentation to bring out its aroma and flavour. Tor Imports rates it mild to medium, with notes of cedar, cocoa, leather and caramel and a touch of honey.
