La Unica is handmade in the Dominican Republic by Tabacalera A. Fuente, with Dominican binder and filler and tobacco aged for five years. The natural cigars have a Connecticut Shade wrapper; the Maduros a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper.
Tabac World describes it as velvety to start, with hints of sweetness and fruit, developing into a nutty, creamy, rich flavour.
