La Flor Dominicana - Suave Maduro Gran Maduro No5 - Box of 20

Suave Maduro is the darker partner to La Flor Dominicana's Suave, the line descended from the company's first release, the Premium Line. The original maduro blend used a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over Dominican binder and filler.

In 2025 LFD gave the line a new blend, shipped as the Suave Grand Maduro in two box-pressed sizes. halfwheel reports a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a binder from Jalapa, Nicaragua, with Dominican fillers. Cigar Aficionado's Cigar Insider scored the Grand Maduro No. 5 (6 1/4 x 52) at 90 points in November 2025, describing an earthy smoke with black pepper, oak and roasted coffee and a hint of chocolate-covered almond on the finish, and rated it medium-full.
