La Flor Dominicana - Double Ligero Robusto Crystal Tubos - Box of 10

Double Ligero is the line that cemented La Flor Dominicana's reputation for powerful cigars. The company describes it as a continuation of its strong blends, using estate-grown Dominican filler and binder from its own farm under a dark, sun-grown Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper; maduro versions use Connecticut Broadleaf.

Tor Imports, the UK importer, describes an all-ligero filler and binder that opens with spice and cedar before turning sweeter, with floral notes and a chocolate undertone, and rates it full in strength. The line is closely tied to LFD's wedge-headed Chisel shape, seen here in the compact Chiselito, alongside corona and robusto sizes in crystal tubes. Cigar Aficionado placed the Double Ligero Chisel at No. 13 in its 2018 Top 25 (93 points) and the Chiselito Maduro at No. 21 for 2024 (92 points).
