La Aurora - 107 Robusto Maduro - Box of 20
La Aurora 107 was launched in 2010 to mark 107 years of cigar making at the Dominican Republic's oldest premium factory, and in 2020 the family was also named the Tobaccos of the World Series to reflect its different blends.
The original 107 uses an oily, reddish sun-grown Ecuadorian wrapper; Tor Imports describes it opening mild and gently spicy before building to medium to full, with cocoa and spice. The 107 Nicaragua is La Aurora's first Nicaraguan puro, which Tor notes for spice, a touch of leather, and earth, wood and floral tones with liquorice and walnut on the finish. The 107 Maduro uses a dark US Broadleaf wrapper, bringing roasted coffee, nuts, wood and spice with some sweetness.
