An elegant small cigar from the Le Hoyo Series with a 38 ring gauge. For many years it was the only Havana of this size, until the Montecristo Open J joined it in 2009.
The brand takes its name from José Gener's Hoyo de Monterrey plantation in San Juan y Martínez, in the heart of the Vuelta Abajo; 'hoyo' means 'hole', describing the vega's low-lying riverside position. Gener, from Tarragona, first used the name on a brand of Havanas in 1865. It is known for its Double Corona, the Epicure series and the slightly stronger Le Hoyo Series. Flavour: Light.

Storage & smoking
Keep in a humidor at 65–70% relative humidity and around 16–18°C. Cut just above the cap line and toast the foot gently before lighting; smoke slowly and let it rest between draws.
