Cuaba - Distinguidos - Box of 10
A box of 10 cigars
Added in 2003: a large double figurado with a generous 52 ring gauge.
Cuaba was launched in London in 1996, reviving the nineteenth-century art of the double figurado, a cigar tapered at both ends. The name is the Taíno word for a bush once used to light cigars. Every Cuaba is long filler, made with Vuelta Abajo tobacco, and classed by Habanos as medium to full in flavour.
Connoisseurs' notes
Published reviewers commonly describe the Distinguidos as having leather and hazelnut with red pepper, sweet spice and coffee.
Summarised from published tasting notes (Cigar Aficionado and specialist tobacconists).
