From the Maduro 5 line, launched in 2007: a broad, short cigar with a dark maduro wrapper aged for five years.
Cohiba was created in 1966 at the El Laguito factory in Havana, and for years was reserved as a gift for heads of state and diplomats before going on limited public sale in 1982. The name is a Taíno word for rolled tobacco. Leaf is selected from the finest vegas of San Juan y Martínez and San Luis in the Vuelta Abajo, and the filler receives an extra fermentation that gives Cohiba its smooth, refined character.

Storage & smoking
Keep in a humidor at 65–70% relative humidity and around 16–18°C. Cut just above the cap line and toast the foot gently before lighting; smoke slowly and let it rest between draws.
