The largest of the three Behike sizes launched in 2010; at 56 ring gauge it is one of the widest girths in the whole Havana portfolio, giving room for a broad spread of flavour.
Cohiba was created in 1966 for Fidel Castro and made at the then-secret El Laguito factory; for years it was seen abroad only as a gift for heads of state, until limited public sale began in 1982. The name is a Taíno word for bundled tobacco leaves. Leaf comes from five top plantations in San Juan y Martínez and San Luis in the Vuelta Abajo, and up to three filler leaves receive an extra barrel fermentation. Flavour: Medium to Full (Línea Clásica).

Storage & smoking
Keep in a humidor at 65–70% relative humidity and around 16–18°C. Cut just above the cap line and toast the foot gently before lighting; smoke slowly and let it rest between draws.
