Asylum 13 is the original line from Asylum, the brand Christian Eiroa runs within his CLE Cigar Company. It is a Nicaraguan puro: a dark Nicaraguan Habano wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and aged Cuban-seed long filler, and CLE's own catalogue lists it as made in Nicaragua. The range is known for its large ring gauges, from the Robusto up to the 7 x 70 Hercule.

Both the maker and Tor Imports describe it as medium to full, with earth, cocoa and espresso, some sweetness and gentle spice over a slow, cool burn.
