AJ Fernandez - New World Decenio Toro - Box of 20

New World Decenio marks ten years of the New World brand. AJ Fernandez created the original blend with his father, Ismael, and it remains the best-known name in his portfolio. Decenio is made at the San Lotano factory in Nicaragua and is softly box-pressed. It pairs a dark Mexican wrapper (San Andrés) with a Nicaraguan binder and a filler of Nicaraguan and Honduran tobacco.

Halfwheel's review found toasted cedar and hay leading, with cocoa nibs, earth, leather and cinnamon, plus black pepper and a raisin-like sweetness through the nose.
