The shortest of the Serie D, only 3½" (90mm) long, yet it carries all the hallmarks of the brand. H&F call it the double espresso of the cigar world.
Don Jaime Partagás opened his factory at No. 520 Industria Street, behind Havana's Capitol building, in 1845. The brand is known for its deep, earthy flavour, drawn from Vuelta Abajo filler and binder chosen for richness, and for its alphabet series of the 1930s, led by the Serie D No.4. All sizes are long filler, totally handmade. Flavour: Full.

Storage & smoking
Keep in a humidor at 65–70% relative humidity and around 16–18°C. Cut just above the cap line and toast the foot gently before lighting; smoke slowly and let it rest between draws.
