Oliva - Serie V Melanio Double Toro - Box of 10

Serie V Melanio, named after Melanio Oliva, who first grew tobacco in Cuba in 1886, is the family's premium blend. Tor Imports describes it as hand rolled and five years in the making. It uses an Ecuadorian wrapper and a Nicaraguan binder over aged Nicaraguan Habano filler that emphasises the Jalapa region.

Tor rates it full strength and describes it as full-flavoured yet smooth. The Figurado was Cigar Aficionado's No. 1 Cigar of the Year for 2014 (96 points) and UK Cigar of the Year in 2021. Tor also lists the Robusto at No. 8 in Cigar Aficionado's 2016 list. The box-pressed line ranges from Petit Corona and Robusto to Torpedo, Figurado and Double Toro.
