Oliva Serie O is a Nicaraguan puro, made in the Cuban tradition of growing the same Habano seed in several regions: Estelí, Condega and the Jalapa Valley. Tor Imports, the UK importer, lists a Sun Grown Habano wrapper with Nicaraguan Habano binder and filler.
Tor describes a sweet, spicy, medium-strength smoke with layers of chocolate, cedar and a touch of caramel. Oliva's own notes add coffee and a balanced spice. Serie O was named Best Value Nicaragua at the Cigar Journal Trophy Awards 2018, and Tor lists ratings of 91 from Cigar Aficionado and 90 from Cigar Journal for the Robusto. The range includes Corona, Robusto, Double Toro and tubed Robusto and Toro sizes.
