Nub is Oliva's concept cigar, launched in the UK in 2009 and made in Estelí, Nicaragua. By shortening the cigar and greatly widening the ring gauge, Nub aims to reach the 'sweet spot', where a cigar is at its best, from the first draw and hold it.
Nub Cameroon wraps a Nicaraguan binder and filler in an authentic African Cameroon wrapper. Tor Imports, the UK importer, rates it medium and notes cedar and coffee, while Nub describes it as smooth, earthy and naturally sweet. Tor lists a Cigar Aficionado rating of 90 for the 460 and a Cigar Journal rating of 90 for the tubed 460, both offered here.
