Series JJ dates from 2005 and was one of the first lines José "Pepín" García made under his own name. The "JJ" stands for his children, Jaime and Janny. My Father states that the line is handmade in the USA. A smooth, butterscotch-brown Corojo Rosado wrapper covers binder and filler that are entirely Nicaraguan.
My Father rates it three-quarter to full-bodied and describes rich earthy tones with hints of ginger and cedar. The white-banded Series JJ sits alongside the Blue Label Original and the Cuban Classic under the Don Pepín García name.
