My Father - Don Pepin Garcia Series JJ 20th Anniversary - Box of 17

This limited edition marks 20 years of the Don Pepín García Series JJ, which is named after José "Pepín" García's children, Jaime and Janny. It was released in July 2025, with production limited to 2,500 individually numbered boxes. Each box holds mostly toros plus a single salomon, the shape long associated with Series JJ.

Both sizes use a Nicaraguan Corojo 99 wrapper shade-grown on the family's Las Lometas farm, a lighter rosado on the toro and a darker rosado oscuro on the salomon. The binder and filler are Nicaraguan and include the rare pelo de oro leaf. My Father calls it three-quarter to full strength. halfwheel's reviewer found plenty of black pepper, balanced by creaminess, light earth and dry wood.
