The largest of the three cigars in Montecristo's Línea 1935, the full-flavoured line added in 2017. Allow around an hour and a half; H&F suggest it after a good meal.
Montecristo was founded in 1935 and takes its name from Alexandre Dumas's 'The Count of Montecristo', a favourite read aloud to the rollers. The original range was numbered 1 to 5; the lighter Open Series followed in 2009 and the fuller Línea 1935 in 2017. All sizes use Vuelta Abajo filler and binder and are long filler, totally handmade. Flavour: Medium to Full (classic), Medium (Open), Full (Línea 1935).

Storage & smoking
Keep in a humidor at 65–70% relative humidity and around 16–18°C. Cut just above the cap line and toast the foot gently before lighting; smoke slowly and let it rest between draws.
