La Flor Dominicana - Reserva Especial Belicoso - Box of 24

Reserva Especial was La Flor Dominicana's second release, dating from 1997, and shares its blend with El Jocko, the cigar the company credits with making the brand famous. In notes supplied through Tor Imports, Tony Gomez links it to the company's decision to buy its own farm, which let LFD move away from the mild style then typical of the Dominican Republic towards more characterful blends.

It pairs an Ecuadorian wrapper with binder and filler grown on LFD's farm. Tony Gomez describes a smooth, medium-bodied smoke with plenty of spice, wood, nuts and earth, while Tor Imports lists its strength as full. The line includes the Robusto, Belicoso and Toro.
