La Flor Dominicana - La Volcada La Volcada - Box of 20

La Volcada is named after a step in the tango, a dance associated with Uruguay, where La Flor Dominicana founder Litto Gomez grew up. It began shipping in late 2017 as a standalone line in a single 7 x 48 Churchill size.

Tor Imports describes it as the third in an informal small-batch series, after La Nox and the Andalusian Bull. An oily Mexican San Andrés wrapper covers an Ecuadorian Corojo binder and Dominican fillers, finished with a pigtail cap; Tor notes leather, coffee and pepper and rates it medium to full. The Petit La Volcada is a 4 1/2 x 32 version for a shorter smoke. Made in the Dominican Republic.
