AJ Fernandez - New World Redondo Toro - Box of 20

The Redondo ('round' in Spanish) is a 6½ x 55 toro in the original New World Oscuro blend. It is the only round size in a line that is otherwise box-pressed. It began in 2019 as a limited release for members of the Tobacconists' Association of America and went into regular production in 2020. Made at AJ Fernandez's Estelí factory, it has a dark Nicaraguan oscuro wrapper, a Jalapa binder and filler from Condega, Estelí and Ometepe.

Halfwheel's review found wood and earth building into charred black pepper, with a touch of dark chocolate sweetness.
