Amar by AJ Fernandez is a Nicaraguan puro released in 2026, rolled at the company's San Lotano factory in Ocotal, north of Estelí. A fire in 2025 hit AJ Fernandez's main Estelí factory, and the line thanks the people who helped afterwards. The name means 'to love' in Spanish and echoes the Arabic word for moon, a reference to Abdel Fernández's Lebanese heritage. A red-toned Nicaraguan habano wrapper covers a Nicaraguan binder and filler.

Halfwheel's reviewer found a woody, smooth start that quickly deepened into earthiness, with leather, pepper, minerals and a berry-like sweetness.
