Pipes

Our pipes come from Peterson of Dublin, which describes itself as the oldest continuously operating briar pipe factory in the world, with more than 150 years of pipe making. Many are Peterson System pipes, based on Charles Peterson's 1890 patent for a moisture reservoir in the shank and a raised draught hole, later joined by a graduated-bore mouthpiece and the P-Lip; Peterson says the design keeps moisture from the smoke and reduces tongue bite. We also stock the Aran, Kinsale, Killarney, Churchwarden and Sherlock Holmes series, and the Donegal Rocky, Peterson's first rusticated line, introduced in 1945.

To choose, start with shape, from straight billiards and Dublins to bent apples, brandies and bulldogs. Then pick a finish (smooth, rustic, ebony or red) and decide whether you want a 9mm filter version.
