Hoyo De Monterrey

Hoyo de Monterrey takes its name from a celebrated plantation at San Juan y Martínez, in the heart of the Vuelta Abajo, whose gate still reads 'Hoyo de Monterrey. José Gener. 1860'. Gener first used the name on a brand of cigars in 1865. Every size is long filler and totally handmade.

Habanos class Hoyo de Monterrey as light: delicate and aromatic, with elegance and complexity. The Epicure No.1 and No.2 were joined by the longer Epicure Especial in 2008, and the Petit Robusto (2004) is designed for smokers short of time. The Le Hoyo series, including Le Hoyo de San Juan, is generally thought slightly stronger and spicier. Choose by length and ring gauge for the time you have.
